He has BS degree from Hacettepe University Faculty of Literature, Librarianship Department and MA degree from Kadir Has University Social Sciences Institute Finance & Banking Program. His current position is Library Director of MEF  University. His professional interests are; academic library management, library consortiums, license agreement for e-resources, library collaboration, resource sharing & document delivery. He is  the former president  of Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS), coordinator of ANKOS Collaboration Working Group and ANKOS Academy Group, and Board Member of Turkish Librarianship Association. Currently he is the Information Coordinator of IFLA DDRSSC and editorial board member of Information discovery & Delivery (Emerald Publishing) and International Journal of Knowledge Management & Practices (IJKMP)  

He graduated Ankara University Librarianship Department of Faculty of Language and History Geography in 1994. He started his job as an Expert in Trakya University Diroctorate of Library & Documentation. He has been working as deputy chairman since 2016.

Prof. Dr. Sezer Şener Komsuoğlu is a Medical Doctor, Neurology and Neurophysiology Specialist.
She completed her medical and specialization education in Atatürk, Ankara and Hacettepe University.
She had worked in Neurophysiology at Birmingham University and Aston University in the UK for 3,5 years. In Turkey, she had worked in Karadeniz Teknik University and Kocaeli University. Between 2006 and 2014, she was elected and appointed as the Rector of Kocaeli University for 8 years.
She has over 250 international and national scientific publications in the field of Neurologic Sciences. She is the author of the first EEG atlas in Turkey and she has 6 books in field of neurology. She also studies woman in academia and gender equality. 
She is elected as one of the 19 board member to research and innovation comitte at European University Association (EUA) since 2016.
Also she is elected as one of the three scientists women from Turkey in Women Scientist book which has published by Oxford University.
Dr. Sezer Komsuoglu is married to Prof. Dr. Baki Komsuoglu and mother of Prof. Dr. Aysegul K. Cıtıpıtıoglu and Assoc. Prof. Feride Ipek K. Celikyurt.
She is currently Advisor to the President of the Council of Higher Education.

Vanessa Proudman is Director of SPARC Europe; she is working to make Open the default in Europe. Vanessa has 20 years’ international experience working with many leading university libraries worldwide, with research institutions, international policy makers, together with information and IT professionals and designers from over 15 countries. She also headed information and IT at a UN-affiliated international research institution in Vienna for 10 years. She has also been programme and project manager to Europeana. She is also the owner of Proud2Know, a consultancy that supports the development of Europe’s academic libraries.

Having graduated from Hacettepe University Information and Document Management Department in 1995, Ebru Kaya worked as publication providing unit supervisor in Sabancı University Information Center between 1998-2002, deputy head of Middle East Technical University library between 2003-2006, deputy head of Bilkent University Library between 2006-2016. She did her masters degree in business management in 2003 and did her doctorate in information and document management at Hacettepe University in May 2017.
As a member of numerous professional associations, Ebru Kaya worked as the vice chairwoman of Turkish Librarians Association between 2004-2010. On top of this she is an active member of many organizations such as UNAK, AULC and LIBER. In addition, she is a member of many international Publisher boards.
Dr. Ebru Kaya has been working as the head of İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University library since 2016.

After graduating from Hacettepe University, Department of Library Sciences in 1986, Dr. Hamza Kandur completed his masters at Loughborough University of Technology, Department of Library Archives and Information Studies, and his PhD at University College London, School of Library Archives and Information Studies, with his thesis “Electronic Records Management”. After completing his postgraduate studies Dr. Kandur returned to Turkey and took up a post as a lecturer at Marmara University.

Dr. Kandur became an Associate Professor at Marmara University in 1998. In 2006 Dr. Kandur became a full professor and is the head of the Information and Records Management Department at Marmara University. Between 2010 and 2104, He was worked as the Vice-Rector of Marmara University and represented Marmara University at the Inter-University Board from 2011 until 2015. In 2018, he is appointed as the Vice-Rector of Antalya Bilim University and moved to Antalya. Main research areas are in Electronic Records Management, Records Management Standards and E-Government.

Murat Arısal was born in Malatya in 1970. After graduating from Marmara University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Constructional Engineering, he completed his master’s degree at Marmara University, Social Sciences Institute, Department of Economics in 2001 and has been currently working on his PhD in the Economics Department of Marmara University. 

His fields of expertise are the feasibility, financial and economic analysis specialist, transportation planning, rail systems project and management, qualified building works. In 1998, he began his career in İstanbul transportation Inc. as a project engineer, then, he continued to serve there in management position at various stages.

Between 2010-2012, he worked as both an instructor  and head of construction and technical affairs department at İnonü University.  He also served as a superstructure advisor in Üsküdar Municipality between 2010-2016. After his appointment at İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality İstanbul Electric Tramway and Tunnel Establishments where he was the head of construction affairs, he was assigned to the General Secretary of Marmara University in August 2018.

Leslin H. Charles has special interest in student engagement, metacognition, information literacy, and assessment of student learning. At Rutgers University, Leslin leads the libraries’ efforts to develop pedagogically sound learning experiences and appropriate assessment strategies in collaboration with librarians, teaching faculty, and relevant campus partners. In 2015, through the ACRL Assessment in Action: Academic Libraries and Student Success program, she developed a longitudinal study of library impact on student learning with special focus on students in the McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program.
She is the recipient of the 2018 Faculty Award for Outstanding Generosity and Commitment to Students, from the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Rutgers University. At her previous institution she was recognized as the Associate of the Year for Innovation, 2012 for developing an information literacy curriculum map. She is also a graduate of the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians (2007) and ACRL Assessment Immersion Program (2009). Leslin currently works with a wide range of undergraduate students including the Mountainview Seminar, Byrne Seminars, McNair Summer Research Institute, and English Composition and Writing. 
She currently serves as the 2018-2019 Past President, ACRL NJ/NJLA College & University Section organization.

Tuna Can completed her bachelor’s degree Hacettepe  University Faculty of Letter  Department of Library Science in 2004. In 2006, She started to work at Ankara  University Library and Documentation Department . She has been working as the Director of Library and Documentation Department since 2017

Gultekin Gurdal was graduated from Hacettepe University Library Science Program (currently the Information Management Program) in 1990 and completed his MBA degree from Kocaeli University.

He has been continuing to be the Library Director at Izmir Institute of Technology (IYTE) since 2005. He has previously held positions at Bilkent University, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, Sabanci University and TOBB University.

He served as the Chairman of the Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS) between the years 2008 and 2012. He is recently working especially on the Open Access studies and after OpenAIREPlus that was completed at the end of December 2014 and OpenAIRE2020 that was completed at the end of June 2018 EC projects partner, he is now an OpenAIRE Advance project partner. Also, last year he was elected as one of the members of the Open Science Committee which was founded by The Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council. He is now an as one of the members of the Open Access and Open Science Working Group in Turkish Council of Higher Education.

He keeps active membership with the following organizations; Turkish Librarian’ Association (TKD), University and Research Librarians Association (UNAK), Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries (LIBER), The Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR), The European Organisation for International Research Information (EuroCRIS), International Association of Scientific and Technological University Libraries (IATUL).

He has many national and international publications. He is a close follower and practitioner of all kinds of scientific and technological development in the field of librarianship/information science.

Lluís Anglada is director of Open Science in the CSUC (Consortium of Services for the Universities of Catalonia). Before, he was director of the CBUC (Consortium of Catalan Academic Libraries), the director of the Catalonia Technical University Libraries, and professor at the Faculty of Librarianship (Barcelona University).

Member of the Board of SPARC Europe and co-chair of the LIBER’s Working Group on Open Access; previously, member of the OCLC’s Global Council and of the LIBER Board. Member of the ProQuest EDT Advisory Board and of Wiley European Customer Advisory Board.

Member of the Spanish Commission for monitoring Open Access; also member of the advisory boards of the Faculty of Librarianship (Barcelona University). Previously, President of the ANECA Committee for the quality certification for university libraries (2003-2005), member of the Executive Board of the Spanish association of academic libraries directors - Rebiun (1993-97), President of the VTLS España User’s Group (1992-1995), Vice-president of the Libraries Association of Catalonia (1989-1992).  

He has published about 40 artícles and book chapters, included “Are libraries sustainable in a world of free, networked, digital information?” awarded in 2017 with the SCImago-EPI reward to the best article published in El Profesional de la información (EPI) in the period 2012-2016.
