We held ANKOSLink2023 International Conference with your valuable participation between 20-23 November 2023 at Trendy Lara Hotel Congress Center in Antalya with the theme of "Rethinking University Libraries in the 100th Year of the Republic".

ANKOS makes significant contributions to Turkish Librarianship through the systems it has developed and implemented and pioneers the training of qualified professionals. The rapid growth of ANKOS Association has not only affected academic librarianship and libraries, but also positively affected Turkey's academic scientific publication performance. This situation has made it even more meaningful that the electronic database subscriptions needed by our universities and academic institutions are carried out under the coordination of ANKOS Association. In this context, ANKOS works hard for sustainable information services, develops library applications and organizes international events such as ANKOSLink, where all stakeholders come together.

This year, nearly 500 participants, 213 institutions and 56 companies from 22 different countries participated in ANKOSLink2023 International Conference. In addition to ANKOS member institutions and publisher and supplier companies, TÜBİTAK President, Secretary General of the Interuniversity Council, Director General of Libraries and Publications of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Presidential Libraries Department Head, ULAKBIM Director, Heads of Information and Document Management Departments and students of our universities, ÜNAK President, TKD President, University Library Managers and Librarians of Turkic and Related Communities (Turkic Republics and Balkans) were also invited to our conference, and cooperation with our national and international colleagues was ensured.

On the first day, Library Developments in the Turkic Republics pre-conference was held with the opening of the stand area and poster exhibition area, and on the second day, ANKOS President İsmail ÇETİNKAYA's opening speech started with the opening speech of the conference, Rethinking University Libraries, Science Diplomacy, Changing Education and Training Environments and Methods, Developments and Innovations in Academic Libraries, Impact of Artificial Intelligence on University Libraries, Poster Titles, Access to Electronic Databases via YETKİM Identity Federation, ANKOS New Database Evaluation Group Studies, Sensitive Point in Database Subscription Processes: License Agreements, we discussed with 30 speakers under panel and presentation titles. On the company side, we completed the sessions on current developments and innovations with 22 presentations.

We would like to share with you some developments regarding ANKOSLink 2023 International Conference.

As previously announced, ANKOSLink 2023 International Conference was to be held at the Royal Seginus Hotel Congress Center in Lara Region in Antalya between 20-23 November 2023.

Due to technical problems at the Congress Center, ANKOSLink 2023 International Conference will be held on the same date, in the same region and in the same service quality category at Trendy Lara Hotel Congress Center.

While 29 speakers from 8 countries will participate in the academic program of the conference, 20 company presentations will be made. In addition, 22 poster applications have been submitted. As of today, more than 330 people have registered for the conference.

The deadline for registration and participation to the conference is November 11, 2023 at 17:00.
