Invitation from ANKOS President
Dear Stakeholders,
ANKOS has made significant contributions to Turkish Librarianship through the systems it has developed and implemented. The rapid growth of ANKOS has not only influenced academic librarianship and libraries but has also positively impacted Turkey’s academic and scientific publishing performance. This makes it even more meaningful to manage the electronic database subscriptions needed by our universities and academic institutions under the coordination of ANKOS.
ANKOS works intensively to provide sustainable information services, develops library applications, and organizes international events such as ANKOSLink, where all stakeholders come together.
It is with great honor and pleasure that I invite you to the ANKOSLink International Conference, held annually and recognized as a brand of high value for both our country and our profession.
The ANKOSLink International Conference is the most important publishing and librarianship event in our country and region, hosting over 500 participants from nearly 30 countries, close to 250 institutions, and around 80 companies each year. Through the network it has built, it brings together university and public libraries, information professionals from Turkey and abroad, scholars, publishers, and information and technology companies.
In addition, with its exhibition event and academic program, it serves as a dynamic platform where professional innovations and developments are followed, issues are discussed, and solutions are proposed.
In 2025, the ANKOSLink2025 International Conference will be held on 4–6 November 2025 in Ankara, hosted and co-organized by the Presidential Nation’s Library. This year’s conference theme has been determined as “Library 5.0 and Human re-Centered Digital Transformation.”
During the three-day conference, the topics to be addressed are planned as follows: Library 5.0 and Human re-Centered Digital Transformation; Preservation and Continuous Access to Digital Content; Artificial Intelligence and Ethics; Artificial Intelligence and Research Tools; The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Academic Publishing; Transformation in Academic Publishing; Transformative Agreements; Reconstructing Academic Knowledge through Artificial Intelligence; Librarians’ Competencies; Developments in the Field of Publishing; Equity in Access to Information; Sharing Models; and Professional Issues.
